Our state has a program for paraprofessionals to recieve
teacher certification. If you could afford to work on a
teaching assistant's salary this might be an option for you. I
is hard to make it on a irregular substitute schedule because
our state limits the number of days a substitute who is not
certified can work. Just a suggestion. A good place to look
for work with out substituting is rural areas where teachers
are needed
