I, too, am going the alternative route, but not for WH/Geo. I
just took the OGET on May 30. It was easy, just basics. It
was 100 questions with an essay. You're allowed 4 hours - I
finished in 3.5. There is a lot of reading comprehension. It
sounds like you are doing all the right things with the study
guides. One hint I have heard over and over concerns the
"constructed response" essay and that is to fill the pages. If
there are four pages available, write at least 3.75 pages. Use
the booklet to put your thoughts in order/pre-write tasks, then
write the essay.
