There appears to be a strong need for educators who are
certified in Math. However, several factors may have a
negative impact upon your aspirations. If you are making
application within the greater Tulsa area, the utilization or
outsourcing of 75 TFA 'teachers' within TPS has compromised
many teachers ability to secure jobs. As a result, greater
Tulsa schools are inundated with applicants and it is
difficult to obtain interviews for positions of interest.
However, do not lose hope and never give up! Anything is
possible with the ever changing events in local public
education.
