I've had the following for my essays:
Write a letter to a scholarship committe for a scholarship to
study abroad for a year and what you would accomplish and then
describe what you would bring back for your students.
The other I had was to describe an auto accident in a spanish
speaking country from the viewpoint of talking with the police
about the accident.
I've come close to passing the test within 4 points and still
can't hack it. Even after a trip to Spain for the summer!
This will be my 7th time and I hope this time, I make it.
Do you have a tutor or someone that you can work with on
practice writing an draft to follow in your head?
That's what I'm doing this time, it's what I used to do in my
college Spanish classes before my exams there. Graded, I had
materials I could use during those exams, like the books we
were reading or the an outline of potential essay topics over
a certain country etc.
Good Luck, I'll be at EC this saturday as well.
