This is probably too late, anyway . . .

It's not a teacher supply store, but "SCRAP" is a fantastic
source for supplies. Everything is used/recycled and super
cheap. You can get bags of colored pencils, pens,
highlighters, also things like construction paper, and all
kinds of interesting gadgets and odds-n-ends. Just
Google "SCRAP, Portland" and you'll find it.
