    I came from the midwest and had SO many interview requests from
    very desirable districts. I actually got solicited by several.
    All you have to do is pass the Praxis Special Education test
    (really not that hard.)
    I had 5 years of special ed. teaching experience though, as
    well as regular education language arts.
