Post: Question for PPS teachers about your Math curriculum..
Posted by MM on 9/22/02
I am in a Washington State district that adopted the
Investigations Math curriculum starting this year. I have
visited the PPS website and was impressed with the
yearly/daily lesson plans, etc. It appears that PPS has had
Investigations for several years and has deveoped an
extensive resource/support system for teachers. I am
interested in the reasoning behind supplementing with
several different programs, ie; The Problem Solver, etc.
Have you also noticed a marked increased in your students
success (scores) on your state high stakes assessments?
Your information is valuable in helping me to support the
students and teachers at our school. Thanks!
