I student taught in Central Falls two years ago and we
used "Kidwriting". It was great. I wish some of my current
fourth graders had it.
In my school,in Warwick a lot of out teachers use Connie
Prevatte's techniques. I haven't gone to any training using
her techniques but from what I have seen they are great.
We have a brand new "Harcourt" rading series and it brings
reading a story, guided reading, writing, grammar, and
spelling all into one. One teacher's manual for all of these
things. It's a lot of work starting out but it's a nice
program.
