Re: Curious about teaching in SC

The NCLB Act has really put education in a downfall.
The "idea" that it's trying to convey is good, but is it
really obtainable? This act has really screwed up a lot of
things in education, including childrens' minds. My son
constantly worries me and himself about scoring high enough on
standardlize tests, (PACT especially) and he's only in the 3rd
grade. What are we doing to our children? Incompetence has
really revealed its ugly face in the school system as well as
rising gas prices.
