Post: How can I become an asst. teacher?

Posted by John T on 7/28/08

I will soon be looking for a job. I've worked for 30 years
at the same company and we are shutting down. I would like
to try something different. I'm working on finishing my
degree in business and would like to teach in the Columbia
area. I'm okay with learning to be a teachers assistant
and then working into a teaching position when the time
comes. How do I go about this process or is there such a
    process?

    Thanks,
    John
