If you want to work in Columbia you need to decide if you
want to work in Richland 1 or Richland 2 school district.
Both districts have online applications. Check for
instructional assistant opening and then apply for the
position. I will give this advice both districts are
looking for someone with experience working with children.
I would also highly recommend that you do some substitute
teaching so that you can get a feel for the district and the
schools. If you are a good sub then a principal may hire
you or at least give you a good reference. Hopes this info
helps.
