meow to frustrated So have you already had to call the other school to tell them that you cannot get free of your contract? Will they still have a position for you in the fall? Were they going to hold the other job for you for a couple of weeks?

frustrated in the low country Well, NO: the district suspended the search telling me they didn't want to hire someone qualified from out of state (apparently no one in state was qualified?)if it was just until the end of the year...They could not guarantee a position next year.
