I just heard on the news that Gov. Sanford is now ordered to apply for the stimulus money. This money will help in many areas of the economy especially education and law enforcement agencies in our state. I am so relieved because in this recession there are many people who are struggling much more than I to remain solvent or just to survive. Thank God the judge has compassion and common sense.

Too bad the same can't be said for Sanford.

Illegal Judicial Activism The court overstepped its constitutional duties. The legislature and the executive branch are the ones that are supposed to decide where and how money is collected. The judicial branch is supposed to interpret the law. What law was involved here? Sigh. Judicial activism at its worst.

Frustrated and Laid Off I don't think that all of the teachers who were laid off give a crap how the court overstepped constitutional duties.
