I'm in agreement with Fed up. I am a transplant from another
state (my husband is military). I taught in the SC public school
system for a few years and teachers here will not stand up. They
keep getting dumped on and most will complain among each other but
will not come together as "one" and complain to the right people.
As long as teachers are willing to take the "abuse" they will
continue to be abused. If you are a person who is willing to
stand up and speak out you are seen as a trouble maker and a
complainer no matter how legit your concerns are. I did myself
the biggest favor when I decided that teaching in this state is
not a good fit for me.
