I was in a TAP school for four years. I think the first year was the most effective. I do think if done correctly it does help us to teach better, but I don't see any great improvement on the students. We are not TAP this year and I hate to be this way, but I'm just wondering if we will get the payout for last year. The payouts have been very unfair, but still a bonus is a bonus. I had a huge increase in my 8th graders from 27% basic to 93% basic and received a pittance for that increase. It definitely was NOT worth it for financial reasons. Good luck with TAP.
