Re: Infinite Campus grade book

    Deb,

You're an early adopter but still not using the gradebook? My
experience has been that it's a barely adequate product, but nothing
like my old gradebook. Very limited reports, only one class open at
a time, a useless seating chart, a cute, but worthless online
test-taking tool, and a LOT of clicking. My advice during training
will be to verify how often you are expected to put assignment
scores in (if at all). We were originally told that we only had to
do attendance and to post our final grades. Most of us still do just
that. One other small point... we may be on an older version, but IC
does not log a teacher off if she logs in from a different
workstation. Not a big deal, but a lot of our teachers switch
classes and have been able to access another teacher's gradebook. Be
sure to stress the "LOG OFF" message during your training.

    Welcome to the family!

    - Kate
