Re: Infinite Campus Woes
Posted by New User on 8/04/07

    You are correct in explaining how the screen is supposed to work...except if
    more than 1 section of a course is offered in a specific period. If one of
    the sections is full, the period is shown as red.

    With your computer background it should be clear that this is an
    error...there is space in the course within the period and the user sees the
    course as full. If you click on the red period the user will overload the
    course if he or she has the permission to do so.

    As a matter of fact IC recognizes this as a bug and has assigned it a bug
    number, and has no plans on fixing it any time soon.

    In a school with 5000 students and many periods where multiple sections are
    being offered, this feature requires double and triple checking because
    red=full is not accurate.

    Respone welcome...the reality for my district is that the sales presentation
    and initial training hid this fact which speaks to the integrity of the
    seller.
