I didn't get to do internship because of financial reasons, so I am going through Alternative Certification. It seems no one wants ACP, they only want experienced. They talk about how bad teachers are needed, yet they make it difficult to become a teacher and even more difficult to get a job! I know ACP is usually picked up last, but school is about to start and I haven't had one interview. I was told that i needed to take my content area test (EC-4) before I could be interviewed, and I took it and still no interviews! I have even been e-mailing principals and calling and going by, and still no luck, any suggestions????
