I am an art teacher from Michigan considering a move to Nashville.
The area appeals to me as I have an interest in music and
songwriting, plus it seems art friendly and very lovely. With the
economic downturn, if I dont find a teaching job, are there other
jobs in Nashville that I can get hired at while I wait for a
teaching position to open? Is substitute teaching a reliable trade
in Nashville? How is teh nashville job market in general. I've been
on craigslists and other sites and I see a good number of job
openings in gneral. Some folks have told me Nashville's job market
is good ,others say the best job they have found in months were
seasonal santa openings. Which is true? I'm hoping having teaching
experience will be considered a good thing if I have to apply to
other jobs and that subbing will allow an increased chance for me
to be hired. What are the facts?
