I'm looking to relocate to TN (Sumner County....wife's
hometown) and have a few questions about how the system
works there. I've been at the same job for 14 years here in
CA, and want to know how difficult the switch would be. I
teach elementary, but am also curious about Junior Colleges
(Sumner or Davidson Counties) Any help on these things
would be appreciated:

1. How I would qualify CA credentials in TN 2. How many
years to receive tenure 3. Would I be considered a
"starting teacher" (if so, what is the average starting
salary?)

Obviously, I have more questions, but this is a good start.
