If you're still interested in coming down here, you won't
regret it. I live in Chattanooga and there's always a need
here or w/in 30miles of here for Art teachers. Are we super
urban w/ tons of nightclubs? No..but do we have great places
to eat? You bet and we have great stores as well. Now if you
need stores and hotspots that Chattanooga can't offer you
we're less than 2 hours from Hotlanta (Atlanta), Nashville,
and Birmingham. We have tons of diversity here! What is
Jazzmine saying! Now I will say in the more rural areas there
isn't as much but in the city areas there are. But then,
coming from PA, you may be used to that...my mom's family is
from the Hanover/Harrisburg area and that's not much
different than down here, just a different accent. :) you can
check out sites for Nashville or Chattanooga online and see
for yourself. I've studied abroad (spain), gone to other
countries, and now culture firsthand. My sisters have
backpacked through Europe, studied in different countries and
have returned to Chattanooga. My children study french,
german, and spanish at their elementary school (Normal Park
Museum Magnet School). Though we don't get paid like folks up
north, housing is cheaper... You can find me on facebook or
email for more info
