I am in my third year of teaching; the first two years, I
taught on an alternative license. I advanced to an
apprentice license last summer. My question is: on my
evaluation paperwork, the "recommended for tenure" box was
designated "NA." Is tenure only applicable after completing
three years' service on an apprentice license, or should my
two years of service on the type II alternative license
apply as well? I want to make sure that a mistake has not
been made here. Thanks!
