Okay found it - what you refer to is either a letter to the editor
or a rehash of the topic by a reporter - both say essentially the
    same thing.

Seems that Mayes was not fired for writing an anonymous letter but
signing it as "a concerned parent" and then lieing about it when she
was found out and confronted - which she now admits to having done.

does the 'punishmnet' fit the crime - it would seem not but your
school board is not forthcoming with reasons for termination -
citing privacy laws - Mayes appears to have a lot of community
support. Mayes has an attorney - maybe it'll all come out
eventually. Was she wrongfully terminated - it will likely be a
court decision not something resolved on this chatboard or in
    letters to the editor.

If you support Mayes - fine - very disingenuous to use that as a
spring board to push your hopeless VA needs a union agenda.
