I think it is reasonable to keep some supplies for later in
the year - especially if you asked parents/put forth the
effort to get them, but if a fellow teacher asked for a box
of tissues or a pack of pencils, I would give him/her one.
Most teams I've worked on share items if they are needed, but
no one has ever required me to divvy up what has been
donated. If you aren't sure, ask your team leader or
administrator.
