It depends on where you want to live as to the pay. It can
range from the low 30's to the low 40's to start. Teaching
here is great in some areas, rough in others. Pretty much
like anywhere else. We have some great areas in the
mountains, but we also have good cities and urban or rural
regions. It just depends on what you like. VA has it all.
Check out the VDOE site to get specific info regarding the
various counties and districts. HS English shouldn't be too
difficult to find work.
