Tip to use Alejandro's books in the classroom: Several schools are using Alejandro's books, "books written by a peer", as following: 1.- they give the students a chapter to read 2.- they discuss the chapter in class 3.- they ask the kids to write something similar based on their own personal experiences.

Every year we have a problem in our schools. Our children can not read, write and spell in the English language. The critics are blaming it on the teachers, the students, parents and who else ? How old is our English language ? How many times in the past it was simplified so our kids can be learning faster and have better communication? What is the biggest problem, perhaps, tradition ? To simplify a language, 26 symbols will not be enough. Many countries have the same problem. We are spending too much time teaching our own language and the teachers don't have enough time to teach other subjects and as a result our students have a very limited general knowledge.
