I don't know exactly how this works, but will try a response. I am
disturbed that teachers (I assume that teachers wrote on this chat
subject) can appear so uncaring about the concept of peace. Yes we
must and should honor our veterans, my grandson did 4 rounds of
service in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Bosnia. I supported him. I
support working and honoring our returning veterans. But, we must
not lose sight of fact that we need to work for peace and peace
with justice.
I find the language used by fellow teachers to be very crude and
biased to say the least. How would you grade your students' papers
if they used this level of communication.
