A Praxis 1 & 2 are needed, passing a criminal background
check, answering the 22 preciever questions now in the
application, and then a person needs to take the Teacher
InSight Test on-line (a.k.a. In Sight Inventory) it's a
personality inventory. But the first three tests are just for
the lic. The next are for if you want to just sub. And if you
want to be a full fledged teacher you go through all of the
tests before it's possible to get a face to face interview.
Sorry. If the InSight is'nt passed you can't work at all in
Dane county for two years according to Beth Weber in HR at
MMSD until you can retake the test and pass.
