Post: PE/Health not subjected to licensing laws

    Posted by Jim on 8/15/08

I'm a PE/Health teacher. I want to know if anyone else is
    having problems getting a job?

Recently a PE teacher got a job teaching PE/Health in a
district I subbed at and he is only certified in PE. The
district justified this by saying they would get an
emergency license for him and he would be certified to
    teach health in a year.

This isn't the only time this has happened and I'm sick of
it. It's made me want to quit a job I love.

Any other PE teachers having these problems?
