WCPS was completely staffed for math but a few late openings occurred unexpectedly near the start of school and most people that applied over the summer already had positions with other districts. I think the $2500 bonus is for teachers new to WCPS only. WCPS performs exceptionally well on the algebra high school assessment (#1 in Maryland), so I think their math program is very strong/successful. good luck!
