This question has come up before on this chatboard (with
similar questions involving baltimore city) and if you scroll
down and read previous posts,you most likely will find that
openingings at any of the nicer schools are snapped up by
current teachers who transfer to them, and the newcomers are
offered the jobs that no one else wants unless they have no
choice. I am sure there are exceptions that occur through
occasional flukes, but if there were a reliable way of taking
a short cut to a pleasant job in a county with unpleasant
jobs, we would all be working at the nice schools and none of
us would be miserable. Let us know if you find a way to do
this.
