If I understand NY certification correctly, you did not take
the praxis tests then. If that is incorrect please do forgive
me. But you need to take the Praxis tests for your
certification area for MD. You can find that information at
ets.org. If you did take the praxis exams to receive your NY
cert, then that cert will transfer to MD without any problem.
