What is the mistake you feel you have made? Teaching or the
school and or district you are in? If its the district or
school then I would try to stick it out to the end and then
make plans to go elswhere at the end of the year, if you feel
like you don't want to teach at all then maybe come to an
agreement with the principal to leave. I will say that before
you decide to quit the profession all together consider what
is bothering you, if you feel its the school that you are
another school might make a big difference for you, the first
year can be very tough and challenging, especially without
support and resources. Good luck to you.
