I was wondering how your school handles requests for ACT and SAT accommodations. In my current school (I'm new this year) it seems that special education teachers/case managers submit the requests to the college board. At my old school, I wasn't directly involved with the process. How is this done at your school? Thanks.
IL SPED ACT needs to approve accommodations based on documentation of a disability. Case managers complete the ACT sheet, provide documentation of the disability, and the SPED administrator sends in the documentation after reviewing all paperwork. Then, we wait for the approved accommodations.
