Parent accountability
Parnts should be held accountable for their childrens education. In homes where education is important usually the students consistently do well, where it is not they don't - with a few rare exceptions. I do not know what the answers are. If the parents do not value education then the children do not. It would seem that this perception needs to be changed. Also socio-economic status correlated to the impoetance of Education in a home but not always.
