As many schools look likely to continue some form of distance learning at the beginning of the coming school year, C-SPAN Classroom has taken steps to ensure accessibility to all of our free digital resources, and provide support to teachers nationwide through Zoom training sessions.
Next week C-SPAN Classroom will host modified versions of our annual summer conferences for teachers who would like to learn more about our free online resources, and how they can be used in the classroom with students or for distance and hybrid learning. If you are interested in joining us, please complete the Registration Form below:
This year we are hosting two, three-hour virtual conferences for U.S. History and Government teachers on the following dates:
Middle School (Grades 6-8): Tuesday, July 28: 3:00pm-6:00pm ET
High School (Grades 9-12): Thursday, July 30: 3:00pm-6:00pm ET
C-SPAN's Education team has designed the conferences so participants can:
Discover the free resources that are available through C-SPAN Classroom as we navigate our website
Engage in an exploratory session so you can bookmark and create folders to save resources for your courses
Participate in breakout rooms to discuss best practices with colleagues and learn about additional resources and programs available through C-SPAN, including StudentCam, C-SPAN's annual documentary competition
Thank you and we hope to see you online next week,
