In TEACH, we want to find out how teachers in UK and Germany perceive the impact of the pandemic school closures on the development of school-relevant skills of their pupils. So, we want to know what changes you perceive in the classroom!
The project includes an online survey that takes only about 10 minutes to complete. The survey is anonymous and the data collected will only be used in the course of the project.
TEACH is based at the DIPF | Leibniz Institute for Human Development and Educational Information (Frankfurt, Germany) and involves the implementation of our theses. We are already looking forward to your perceptions and the results!

As you all know, the world is facing global crisis. Unfortunately, less than a third of the young population is aware of the sustainable development goals. That's why we are creating the best STEM resources (aimed at 7-13-year-olds) for educators to teach Climate Change & Sustainability using;
- Project-based learning curriculum for SDG
- Gamified & collaborative digital app
- Personal skill & progress report for students
We have the best education advisors on our board, such as Lord Jim Knight, Former Minister of State for Schools, Prof. Dr Ger Graus OBE, KidZania Education Director, Dr Meryl Batchelder, UN Accredited Teacher...
I am contacting ambassador teacher candidates who might be interested in teaching environmental education to their classes.
If you are interested in accelerating education progress towards the Global Goals this summer, please feel free to contact me. I'd be happy to provide more details and give you free access! I'd love to meet and have a quick call!
Note: This application only supports Android Version 9.0+
I'd really appreciate it if you could help me in testing by keeping some students in mind, filling in the info, and using the 'Upload Data' option so that I can perform analytics on the accuracy of each question. You can anonymize student names, or leave it to me-- I assure you that this remains confidential.
Myself and another fellow student, are MSc Child and Adolescent psychology students at the University of Greenwich.
We would like to invite school staff, either teachers, teaching assistants or trainee teachers in the United Kingdom to volunteer to participate in a short (max. 20-30 minute) survey.

Does anyone know what university offers the Continuing teacher education methods classes for art, math and science for people who live in Arkansas? The university of Phoenix doesn't offer to people in Arkansas.
I just turned 63 and I am in good health. I have always wanted to be a teacher. I went to college to start to be a math teacher. I have always loved math and I am a lifelong learner. I switched majors to Computer Science, and I have worked in the field for the last 35 years. I started out as a programmer and have moved up in the field to a business analyst, and then years as Project Manager. In this field, I build teams, coach and mentor others and teach. While in college I worked for the school as a math tutor. I feel that a lot of the skills that I have would translate well to a classroom setting. I genuinely care about others and love to help others succeed and reach their potential.
I want to give back. I was fortunate enough to have some outstanding teachers that engaged my mind and kindled a curiosity and a love of learning that has lasted my whole life. I live in Texas, and I have enrolled in an alternative certification program to get certified to teach in three areas:
235 MATHEMATICS 7-12
135 MATHEMATICS 8-12
141 COMPUTER SCIENCE 8-12
I have reviewed the subject matter and taken a few practice tests and I don't see any issues in passing. I am currently working through the required course work. The state of Texas requires a minimum of 300 clock-hours of educator preparation training for certification. These hours include Required Courses, Field-based Experiences, Supplemental Courses, Internship Project, and PPR Test Review. I have completed about 60 hours of the course work. I am really enjoying the courses.
All that long winded background to ask this: Will my age keep me from having a reasonable shot at becoming a teacher? Do you know of anyone that started teaching later in life that was successful? Thank you in advance for any feedback you can give. Feel free to shoot it to me straight - I really want to know. If you think I have lost my mind, :) feel free to say so.
