105 minute walk for me today. Lovely sunny warm day. Best part: I still had exercise clothes on when the health aide got here and she said I looked skinny. Of course my tank was a slimming black. :)
I gave up my beloved Fitbit because my walking sticks were confusing it. I'm trying to keep track of exercise duration now. Today I took a long local walk, 2 hours.
Fortunately I'm at goal weight so each step isn't as critical, but I'm logging My Fitness Pal daily to keep myself honest--I'm a food cheater.
I walked around the reservoir in very very light sprinkles. Actually, they're doing work (I think removing storm-damaged trees) so half was closed. I walked halfway and back again. I really enjoyed the exercise today.
We finished the exterior of the house today. It's a lovely royal/navy/blue house with white trim. Very pretty. Now, we have a month off while skilled laborers do plumbing, dry wall, etc. Whew. Today was hot a windy, a fine way to end the session.
Then, off to help serve a funeral dinner at church.
Can you guess--no formal exercise, so I only got 1/2 my steps, but I was on my feet a great deal. Now, we babysit for 4 days, and it's supposed to rain often, so my trainer/7-year-old grandson won't likely crack the whip to rack up steps on Gram's pedometer. Oh, well, credit for smiling and laughing muscles.
Please do visit my shop entitled, silvestertim on the TES website for a wealth of resources, including teaching pedagogy, a huge range of homework and GCSE revision papers, worksheets and assessments. Highly recommended by other teachers who have "made these resources a huge part" of their scheme of learning.
I agree wi...See MoreI came across this post in the discipline section.. any teachers have any information on this.. I knew they still paddled in Texas... but to do it bare bottomed and to 16, 17 and 18 year old young adults... Can't really be happening..
My exercise consisted of two session on the treadmill, and running errands for DM. 11,124 steps. Weigh in tonight (small local group) was another drop. Whoo-hoo. Not much (1.4#), but every little bit helps!! :)
I took a short walk ...See MoreWay to go, Bev, I think -1.4 is significant. I'm negative today, too, except on My Fitness Pal that means I went over on calories.
Men, you have more hours in your day than I do, you busy bee. Certainly a woman of accomplishment.
Elaine, I so admire your Habitat work! Keep telling us your progress.
