EXERCISE ROLL CALL - Monday

Today, I choose to walk at the largest park in town. I always try to find the map of the walking path before I arrive but they are never detailed enough for me. I parked under a tree and found the path. I looped around 4 times without incident. That was until the last loop around the playground area. There was an older gentleman sitting nearby with three little girls feeding the squirrels. Well, one little squirrel decided that I had food also and came towards me. I stopped walking and took a few steps back. It came forward again and again, I stepped back. I finally decided to go across towards the bathrooms to avoid it.

There is a hiking trail near where I parked and on one of the loops, decided to explore it a bit. I walked up until the path curved along the dry creek. I turned back as the path was much too rocky and my running shoes were not adequate for the terrain. Plus, I will not go alone on such an isolated path. Safety first!
