Hello, at least in my district (west P) the certification department extended the certification for 2 more years. They have some requirements but will be effective 3 months before the due day.

That's great! Good for them. With everything that has happened in the last year we should get some extension.

I checked with my HR and they are only extending it for certain situations. ( I do not fall into any of them so I need to pass the Essay by May/June or my cert will expire. I do not know what happens then. I am on the West Coast of FL.

What county do you work in ? Also did you get hired with a temporary certification? I will be in the same boat soon ! Hopefully will get hired by may !!
