Feeling Defeated

Hello! My name is Kim and I work at a school district in Washington State. I have been a teacher for 13 years and have taught SPED for 5 years. There is no material, no books, no supplies and no appreciation from administration for all that we do in our department. I am so discouraged and to make matters worse I have a supervisor (assistant principal), that is so awful. He moved me from a proficient teacher to a basic teacher and I was told I had to teach the SPED curriculum, which is direct instruction. Then he gave me a Basic. What is wrong with these people?!
