Tomorrow is a meeting for a child who has been violent to teachers and other students. It is only second grade so, many things are overlooked by administration. Yes, he has a 4-page 504 plan in place which includes so many things my head spins. I do not have an aide, I do not teach special ed, and have 21 other students I am trying to teach while he is yelling, jumping, crawling, going through all my things, leaving the room, and bothering other students. I am dreading this meeting because it is only October and his behaviors are not changing his grades significantly enough that they will do anything for the class or for him. The only thing the CST will do is give me the third degree asking me what I have done and what will I do to change the behavior. I am tired already. Any advice?
