| Bio | Hi, my name is Nancy Cruz. I studied at the University of Puerto Rico Rio Piedras Campus. I graduated in 1983 and I've been teaching for 30 years. I started as a Special Education teacher and worked for nineteen years in this field of education. I also taught fifth grade and sixth grade social st'vudies. I taught first grade in a transitional bilingual setting and in Spanish Immersion setting. I taught third grade at St. Bonaventure Indian Mission school in New Mexico, and I am actually teaching ESL in North Carolina at Randolph County Schools System. I've enjoyed my carreer throughout the years, love my students dearly and to me it has been a rewarding carreer because I have many good memories. Though I will retire soon; my teaching carreer will not be fulfilled until I go to teach in Japan. That's my ultimate dream as a teacher. It has been fun. |
