Steph, obviously you understand what RTI is and how it is supposed to be
implemented. What I refered to in my response is what is really happening
in some districts, not what is supposed to happen. I hope that all
districts, schools and teachers experience the ideal situation that you

I didn't disagree with your post at all. It definitely has to do with
intervention. I was responding more to the idea that schools take a new idea
and adapt it in inappropriate ways. RTI, properly implented, shouldn't make
