I am going to be teaching a lot of my guided reading block this year using science and social studies text. I've got what I need for SS, but I'm having a horrible time finding science stuff. I teach 4th in a Core Knowledge school, so our textbooks don't address the topics we are supposed to teach at all. I have found a few things on Reading A to Z that will work, but I really need more!! Does anyone know of where I can find reading material for 4th grade science? (inexpensive or FREE are preferred!!) The topics we are supposed to cover are: circulatory system respiratory system geology: the Earth and its changes meteorology chemistry electricity
