I have a Christian performing arts and personal development organization in NYC called Abundant Life, and we're currently looking for an instructor to teach sign language for a Sign Ministry in Brooklyn. It would be approximately once or twice a week during the summer for about an hour and a half to two hours per session. Please contact me right away if you are interested.

Hey, I have recently received my bachelors in Sociology and have always been interested in ASL. I want to go back to school for it but don't know where or what exactly the major would be. Anyone know of anything in central jersey?
I do not know sign language, but would like to try to teach the Happy Birthday song to my third graders this year. Do you know of a website or anything that would help me to learn it and then teach it? Thank you.
and type in each word of the traditional happy birthday song, you will be able to see a visual example of each sign.
for the person's name, typically a generic sign for a person's name is the first letter of their name tapped at forehead (male name) and at chin (female name) hth.

On 1/17/09,...See MoreASLdeafined is launching a new website for ANYONE to learn sign language. This website will be pretty comprehensive, with chart, games, activities for ANYONE to learn. This would be awesome for your entire class to learn sign language. Each student can learn at his or her own pace.
Take care,
ASLdeafined Team

I Learned Whitney Houston´s song "The greatest love of all" in signing language long time ago. Now I can´t remember some phrases or words (in ASL) when I sing it, is there any way for me to be taught those words again through the internet, by watching a video or something?
