I teach high school sign language and started a site in April for my students and anyone else interested in learning ASL. nigel to teach ASL, you must have either ASL Studies, Deaf Education, or Linguistics (in ASL study)degree.

Special education doesn't count UNLESS you MUST be aware the Deaf culture.

i would think just calling someone an 'idiot' in english is similar. . . i'm an idiot. . .that kind of thing.

is that what you were asking - asl to english translation of the idiom?

ASL Teacher: Saturday Classes for High School Students

Hey! I'm actually a student looking for an ASL teacher! My school doesn't offer ASL and we have an unofficial club but teaching ourselves is slightly difficult. The participants would be willing to pay a normal group price per class if anyone is interested or has any recomendations PLEASE let me know!
