I am working on my EAS application and I just got to the file upload section. There are file upload options for things like official transcripts and state teaching certificates; however, I am not seeing a spot to upload my resume. I guess I had just assumed I would upload a copy to the file uploads page, but now that "resume" or "CV" or anything similar is not an option for a file upload, it has me questioning whether I actually submit a copy of my resume or not. I see that most of the items addressed on a resume are already within the application itself (work experience, education, skills and activities, etc.) So my question: Do I actually need to upload a copy of my resume? If so, where do I do so?
HelpOthersEAS includes all they want to see in the application itself. There is a text box to include additional information you think is important. The employment verification form will be required when determining your starting step. EVERY year, you need to upload your transcript and educator certificate/license even if nothing has changed.
I'm finally on the referral list! I'm on two different list but I'm trying to get on the Jacksonville, NC list. Does anyone live there or use to? How was it?
AngelaAbout 3.5 weeks from final offer to orders and then report date was bumped up (long story). I received final orders this Tuesday and will be leaving next Saturday. My case has been super fast.
Is the DODEA form 5011 Professional Evaluation form the only type of evaluation accepted on the EAS Application, or can we can submit other more general letters of recommendation?
I qualified for two subjects and passed all the Praxis tests needed. But I have just got an update from the application system that says I am not qualified anymore because of "effective September 1, 2019, DoDEA requires a new PRAXIS I Core Math assessment (Test Code 5733)." Is it a kind of mistake or...? Any idea? Thank you!
lalalandThank you so much for your input. My qualification was confirmed before the "effective date" of the new test. I didn't know it could be taken away afterwards. Now, I must fly out of town to take the new test because it isn't offered in my area...

Our smaller base had Europcar and they were fine. Larger bases might have more options to choose from. Sixt can be cheaper on a rate but sometimes seem like they are trying to nickel and dime you (in general, not necessarily in Germany).
