Does anyone know if the emails listed on the Dodea school webpages are just generic? I'm wondering if the principals have additional school email addresses that are more private. I would understand the need to filter out stalkers like me :), but I am just wondering if anyone knows how this works.
BuzzI just hope it is not too late. I sent an email to the one provided on the webpage, but I'm pretty sure it will never be read. It has been a week and one day for one referral and it will be a week tomorrow for the other.
HelpOthersThose e-mails are likely forwarded to their normal e-mail account, but as I have stated earlier. Principals receive more e-mails than they can respond to as it is, so you may not hear back through an e-mail until a slow period of the year (like July?).
Do they continue hiring through the summer months? I see people getting calls and interviews for next year and am wondering if I should keep my hopes up or if there is a deadline for next year hires.
HelpOthersIt is not unusual to be asked to interview without receiving a referral e-mail. When you miss a call, copy and paste it into a Google search to see if it is spam. If it is, no worries.
BubbleHeadsgluca, my grades are posted (just two days after submitting my assignments) and I requested a pdf of my transcript be mailed to me. Hopefully, I can submit it for re-evaluation tomorrow or Friday. Got an A in the class btw, They grade easier than I do.
sglucaWow great to know the class process was fast, and congrats on your A. Hopefully the re-evaluation will go quickly also... I'm really hoping they accept the course for you!
I got a missed call that was numbered 1-8000. I thought this is a spam number so I didn't respond. They didn't even left a voicemail. I realized yesterday that this number was one of DODEA school. I want to know what number will they call? I live in New Jersey.
HelpOthersHave your phone with you and answer it. :) HR usually calls to ask if you want to accept the position before they e-mail the information to you.
I know I have seen people mention LaVerne. Can anyone explain to me how classes have worked for that? Are they difficult? Just wondering how long they might take me to complete. Thanks.
BubbleHeadI requested approval several times for the Astronomy course at LaVerne from HR and my case manager and got zero response. So, I guess I'll find out if they accept it or not in a week or two when I submit the transcript. There are no words (at least without using my sailorspeak) that can adequately express the profound loathing I feel for HR.
Also, referral lists are generally specific to one position. So, if you are not interviewed and/or hired for a position then that referral list basically is no longer valid/applicable and you go back to square one.
