Yes, haha is correct. The student must seek approval first, so it is not a guarantee, but the student can take classes for dual credit if approved.

The interviewers will look at the applications and choose 3-5 to interview. Therefore, you being chosen will depend on how you compare to the other individuals.
Does any one know if DODDS affirms or counts service as a paraprofessional (in a SPED setting) for teaching experience credit? Well, I don't believe paraprofessional or substitute teaching counts, unfortunately. Paraprofessionals in SPED do tremendous work, I know, I'm in SPED myself. Generally, no, only full time teaching experience in a K-12 setting counts as teaching experience for DoDEA. You would really need to meet the requirements set out on the DoDEA teaching requirements page to be considered for a teaching position. As Leo posted, take a look and see what you can work towards checking off.

We were notified that there would be maintenance this weekend with all DoDEA sites, so it makes sense that EAS would be impacted. If I were you, I would use the time to review the information in USA Job and apply there too.

You update your current application each year, so all the places that indicate the school-year for which you are applying reflect the new school-year. This requires you to upload your transcript and your education/teaching certificate/license. USA Jobs has again posted an announcement for teachers. I suggest you also apply through USA Jobs.

Depending on the timing, you may also be able to stay in temporary housing for up to three months if you are not able to find a home.
